The InFocus Timer/Counter is a simple, flexible timer and counter program for students and researchers of all ages and education levels. It records the duration of up to 12 behaviors performed by animals for sampling periods of the user’s choice. Or, it can be used to count the number of events of any kind for specified durations. Examples would be measuring the amount of time an individual bird or animal spends in various common activities or the number of birds coming to a bird feeder in a given length of time. Templates of behaviors, activities and types of subjects can be easily changed. Data summaries are automatically generated with appropriate descriptive statistical parameters and can be viewed or emailed at any time.
